Teresa Heath-Alva leads Farm Credit Foundations, a 4.25 service corporation headquartered in St. Paul, MN. Foundations captures strategic and economic advantages for the employers of Farm Credit by leveraging scale and expertise in employee health and welfare benefits, retirement, payroll services, compensation and HR information systems. Foundations navigates the complex world of benefits and HR operations, allowing helping our clients to be the employer of choice for those serving rural America.
Teresa joined Farm Credit in 2007, holding senior positions at AgriBank and Farm Credit Foundations before assuming the CEO role. Prior to working for Farm Credit, she held leadership roles in private and publicly traded companies including Ceridian, Northwest Airlines (Delta) and several institutional trading firms.
Teresa holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and business from the University of Minnesota. She’s also a graduate of the HR Executive program from the University of Michigan and is a certified Operations and Financial Principal.
